About the Author
Miguel Figueroa Rivas’s journey began not in theory, but in survival.
A childhood marked by complex trauma left deep imprints—psychic wounds that would eventually become the very source of his life’s work and driven by a need to understand the systems that inflict and perpetuate harm, Miguel’s early life was defined by a burning question: What kind of civilization would create such suffering—and call it normal?
His first steps into the world were pragmatic. He earned a Bachelor’s in Public Accounting and then a Master's in Financial Management, launching a successful career in corporate banking, auditing, and forensic accounting. As he examined systems of fraud, he began to see deeper patterns: financial structures mirrored psychological ones. Power operated through deception. Institutions devoured integrity. His work exposed theft not only of money—but of human value.
Haunted by deeper questions, Miguel pivoted. He returned to university to pursue a Bachelor’s in Psychology, then earned dual graduate degrees: a Master’s in Psychoanalysis, and a Master’s in Psychological Interventions in Personality Disorders and Psychosis. These fields gave language to what he had always felt: that trauma is not pathology, but strategy. That what society calls disorder is often a sane response to an insane world.
Through years of study, work, and reflection, Miguel developed the groundbreaking theory at the core of his debut book:
Überpredator: Apex Drive Analysis Theory.
This Grand Unified Psychoanalytic Theory fuses affective neuroscience, trauma studies, forensic logic, and deconstructionist philosophy to expose the hidden architecture of civilization: a predator-prey dynamic hijacked by primary psychopaths. It reframes human suffering, not as random or personal, but as a systemic betrayal engineered over millennia.
Today, Miguel merges his clinical insight with his background in forensic auditing and philosophical inquiry. In his spare time, he explores the frontiers of particle physics, ontology, and cosmology, seeking to reconcile consciousness with the structure of the universe.
Miguel does not merely theorize survival—he embodies the arc from prey to witness to protector.
